I have walked where the great ones have walked. Trodden where the exalted few have also trodden.
The beach holiday in Lorne is going great, by the way. I know I came here for one singular purpose- well, two- but actually the accommodation we found in Lorne is really lovely and there’s a place down by the water that does chilli-flavoured ice-cream. Didn’t think I’d find anywhere that did that sort of thing! It’s a beautiful part of the world and I’m loving every minute of being so close the beach. I haven’t been this relaxed in years, getting away for a few days in Lorne is something I need to do more often.
Anyway, my two great goals. First, to wile away some time while ‘Week of Our Lives’ is on a break, because it’s not like I do anything else with my life. Second, to perhaps meet some of the cast members while they film here for the big season 67 premiere.
Well, I haven’t MET any of the cast members, but I know for a fact that I’ve visited the beach apartments where they were keeping all the filming equipment. That means that they took the filming equipment OUT of the apartment and onto the beach to film, and I myself have stood upon that beach. All my forum friends will be green with envy when I’m able to look at the screen and say, with almost motherly pride, “I was there! I! ME.”
Not sure if filming had wrapped up or if I just missed everyone…probably the former, since I scoured every inch of Lorne looking for where they might be. Nothing, but I can feel the energy. I can feel the wonderful vibes. This episode is going to be excellent, I can just FEEL it.
And I suppose it’s worked as a bit of Lorne luxury beach accommodation recon, for when I take my place as a revered and beloved television star.
